  SVU’s VIMS along with the UP Health department, organized a 3 day Mega Blood donation camp that culminated with tremendous success. We collected 164 units of blood in this Mega Blood donation camp. The VIMS management & Health department officials felicitated the donors by gifting them a medal & certificate.   Shri Venkateshwara University / Institute organized a 2 day seminar on the topic Emerging Opportunities in Agriculture sector.   In the seminar, Agriculture scientists elaborated ways to double farmer’s income by discarding old methods & adopt techniques that will transform agriculture into industrial farming. The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Guest Prof A. K. Singh, former Sr. Scientist Israel Agriculture dept., Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, & the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.   The VC Dr Rakesh Yadav & senior Agriculture Scientist cum Dean Prof C P Kushwaha assisted them in inaugurating the seminar.
