Shri Venkateshwara University celebrated Raksha Bandhan uniquely with children tying protection bands on the wrists of University officials.

Shri Venkateshwara University /Institute celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival uniquely with children from various schools tying protection bands on the wrists of University officials.. This is under the Raksha Sutra Programme as envisaged by the Honourable CM of UP Mr. Yogi Adityanath. The children celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying protection bands and putting tilaks on Pro Chancellor Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, SDM Dhanora Mr. Rajiv Raj, and DSP Mr. Vijay Rana.. As per the directions of the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, we took the children for a campus tour and offered sweets and gifts as part of the Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Raksha Bandhan is a significant festival in the life of Indians because of its historical and mythological essence. Let us all tie a protection band for a stronger & united India. Shri Venkateshwara University felicitated many promising players on the occasion of the National Sports day.

Shri Venkateshwara University /Institute felicitated many promising players and organized a seminar on the occasion of the National Sports day marking the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand. SVU recognized several athletes for their achievements in various sports, including Ishita Dhariwal for Archery, Azha Khan for Tug of War, Narendra Rana for Baseball, and Deepak Dhariwal for shooting. The ceremony also included a dozen national and international players, who were honoured with a patka, turban, and a memento. These players performed exceptionally well at the recently concluded World Police Athletics championships in Canada and brought laurels for the country. Ms. Ishita Dhariwal won 3 gold medals in archery and made the nation proud. Shri Venkateshwara University’s players were honoured with the prestigious Chetan Chauhan Award 2023

Shri Venkateshwara University , Chetan Chauhan Foundation, and the Sports Promotion Organization of India (SPO) collaborated to organize the 3rd Chetan Chauhan Award 2023. The Constitution Club of India hosted the Chetan Chauhan Award 2023 ceremony, where over 150 national/international players and coaches were honored. CG & Chairman DDCA, Mr Rohan Jaitley, along with Mrs. Sangita Jaitley wife of late Mr. Arun Jaitley, Mr CK Khanna Former President BCCI, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi & Maj. General Javed Iqbal inaugurated the award ceremony by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Amita Singh, a former UP Minister and badminton player, along with veteran hockey player Zafar Iqbal, former Minister Sunil Bharala, and Mrs. Sangeeta Chauhan, joined them in inaugurating the event. It was a memorable day for Shri Venkateshwara University . O2N Digital India awarded Shri Venkateshwara University with the Excellent University in Innovation award 2023 at the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Samagam held at IEML Greater Noida.   The UP Cabinet Minister for Higher Education Science & Technology, Mr. Yogendra Upadhyaya, presented Shri Venkateshwara University with the distinguished award in the presence of over 100 directors, VCs, educationists, diplomats, and scientists from IITs and IIMs. Cabinet Minister Mr. Yogendra Upadhyaya, along with Prof. RK Khandal, the former VC of UPTU, Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University, Capt. Yogendra Yadav, a Param Vir Chakra awardee, and Dr. Pratap Singh, the Meerut Campus Director, inaugurated the event.  They lit a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
