  Shri Venkateshwara University /VGI Meerut and Karuna Yoga Foundation collaborated to organize a grand Yoga Camp and felicitation ceremony in honor of International Yoga Day. The felicitation ceremony marked the conclusion of the 14 day Yoga Camp that took place at the University. On this occasion, renowned Yoga Trainer & Chairperson of Karuna Yoga Foundation Delhi, Ms. Karuna Tyagi gave Yoga tips to the students & Staff of the University. We organized the blood donation camps at three locations wherein the locals, along with the students & teachers, donated 288 units of blood.   In order to realize our Chairman's mission of enlisting Shri Venkateshwara University among the top ranking higher education institutions in the country, we took a crucial step in this direction. The Group chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, envisioned of creating the Venkateshwara Centre of Excellence that helps in improving the overall ranking.   The Indian team performed exceptionally well at the Jordan Open International Kickboxing Championship, winning 11 Golds, 6 silver, and 1 bronze medal in Amman from June 1-10. The 14 member Indian team outplayed their opponents from Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia & Oman and grabbed the top spot in the international championship.
