Shri Venkateshwara University to establish NCC & NSS units for improving the overall ranking of the University

 









In order to realize our Chairman's mission of enlisting Shri Venkateshwara University among the top ranking higher education institutions in the country, we took a crucial step in this direction.

The Group chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, envisioned of creating the Venkateshwara Centre of Excellence that helps in improving the overall ranking.

In this context, the Pro chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi along with Dr Rajesh Singh, invited Brigadier Sunil Kaul CO CEO 33 Battalion Amroha Moradabad and Major Mudassar for a campus tour.

This is to create a NCC unit that plays a formidable role in improving the ranking of the University.

We also gave a final proposal for establishing 10 NSS units to the Nodal Officer, Mr. Sompal.

Both NCC & NSS are vital in deciding the NAAC & NIRK ranking for any University/HEI. This initiative will lead to the establishment of 1 NCC & 10 NSS units at the University.

Shri Venkateshwara University /Institute held an orientation program called Diksharambh 2023 for the newly admitted students of session 2023. The college management greeted new students and urged them to enhance their skills and contribute to their country. Shri Venkateshwara University appointed a new Director (S & A) & Personnel Relation Officer.

  It was a momentous day for Shri Venkateshwara University as Dr Ram Yash Singh Joined as Director (Security & Administration). Dr Singh is a retired police officer who was Police Superintendent at Siddhartha Nagar, Banda, Bahraich & many districts. He was SP (City), SP (Crime), SP (rural) and Additional SP at over a dozen districts and comes with rich experience of security & administration. Dr Laxman Singh Rawat, who was former Registrar of the Uttarakhand Open University in Haldwani has joined as Senior Personnel Relations officer in the Department of Training & Placement.   On the direction of the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, we welcomed the new joinees by giving them a shawl & memento.
