Shri Venkateshwara University organized a seminar on the importance of balanced life in maintaining cardiac health.

In celebration of World Heart Day, Shri Venkateshwara University and VIMS multispecialty hospital organized a seminar on the importance of balanced life in maintaining cardiac health. Over a dozen renowned cardiologists from all over the country took part in the seminar. The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr IB Raju, & the Dean Academics Dr Sanjiv Bhatt inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati. The Chief Speaker & renowned Cardiologist Dr VK Saxena, & Dr Ana Brown joined them to inaugurate the seminar on the role of balanced life in Cardiac Health. The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated the heart is the most important organ of the body. Hence it’s our responsibility to keep it healthy through regular exercise/Yoga, balanced diet, & by not smoking. Shri Venkateshwara University’s VIMS team won many medals at the Pulse 2023 Sports & Cultural Festival.

The VIMS (Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences) team from Shri Venkateshwara University won 12 medals at the Pulse 2023 Sports & Cultural Festival. The prestigious AIIMS Delhi was the host of the 8 day competition that saw over 100 Government & private Medical colleges taking part. At the Pulse 2023 Sports & cultural Festival, VIMS students won 5 Gold, 4 silver & 3 Bronze medals to win a dozen medals. Dr. VPS Arora, the Chief Advisor of the Venkateshwara Group, along with Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, the CEO, Dr. Rakesh Yadav, the VC, Dr. Atul Verma, the Dean Medical, and Dr. Sanjiv Bhatt, the Dean Academics, congratulated the winning team. Shri Venkateshwara University organized a seminar on organ donation to celebrate the World Pharmacist's day.

Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut organized a seminar on organ donation and a mega blood donation camp to celebrate the World Pharmacist's day. To educate people about organ donation, we conducted an awareness rally on the campus. The Pharmacy faculty members, staff, and students donated blood voluntarily. They collected 142 units of blood and pledged to save lives by donating blood. DR VPS Arora, renowned Scientist & Chief Advisor to the Chairman, vowed to donate his organs after death. Dr VPS Arora, who was a colleague of former President Dr Abdul Kalam, has already pledged to donate his eyes after death.
