National Constitution day celebrated at Shri Venkateshwara University Gajraula

 










On the occasion of National Constitution day Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI organized a seminar on the Importance of Forensic Science for Fair Investigation & True Justice.

The seminar also hosted a live workshop depicting the effectiveness of Forensic Science.

The flamboyant DCP of Delhi Police IPS Ms. Suman Nalwa was the Chief Guest at the event. On this occasion, the students, teachers, & lawmen pledged to save the constitution & offer free legal advice to the underprivileged sections of the society.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Guest IPS Ms. Nalwa, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, & the ACP Delhi Police IPS Mr. Ranjan Atri, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

International Poet Dr Dinesh Raghuvanshi & others assisted them in inaugurating the seminar.

In her address, the Chief Guest Ms. Nalwa stated that in today’s era of digital empowerment, the modus operandi adopted by professional criminals has also changed, especially while committing major crimes like murder, kidnapping & rape, etc.

In these times, providing correct legal aid to the victim is challenging both for the police & the judicial system.

For heinous crimes forensic science techniques like DNA test, finger printing, odontology, narco test & ballistic science help police to investigate in the right direction. These also assist the victim in getting justice in due course.

In today’s time, one cannot get justice without the help of forensic science.

Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that by establishing fast track courts, there is a renewed hope of speedy justice for heinous crimes.  

IPS Mr. Ranjan Atri informed that people, especially girls, should never send or accept friend request from strangers. They should never share OTP, PIN or password with anyone to prevent cybercrime.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi administered the oath to the students, teachers & lawmen to protect the constitution & provide free legal advice to the poor people.

Dr. Dinesh Raghuvanshi mesmerized the audience with his excellent poetry that was applauded by all.

The students of the law school took out an awareness rally to apprise people about their constitution rights & duties.

Delhi’s reputed law firm TCA headed by renowned Criminal lawyer Mr. Tabish Sarosh created a live crime scene & taught students the best way of investigating crime.  

Those present included the In-charge VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Senior Adv. Supreme Court Abhinav Goswami, Dr Vipin Chauhan, Dr Rajvardhan, Dr Shyamlal & Alim Akhtar.

Noticeable with their presence was the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, Alka Singh, Ashok Kumar, Dr C P Kushwaha, Dr Umesh, Naseem Akhtar, S S Baghel, Dr Varsha & Dr Yogeshwar Sharma.

Also present were Dr Rajesh Singh, Arun Goswami, Maroof Chaudhary, Pritpal & the media in charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
