Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut hosted a one-day workshop on Skill Development, its impact, and the associated challenges.

Educationists discussed and developed strategies to make India the Skill Capital of the world. The participants exhorted the youth to make India self-reliant through skill India Digital India & Make in India campaign.

They encouraged everyone to realize PM’s Modi mission of making India the Skill capital of the world.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, CG Dr Chintamani & Dr Sazia Ajith inaugurated the workshop by lighting a lamp to goddess Saraswati.

The Registrar, Dr Piyush Pandey, assisted them in inaugurating the event.

Over 100 educationists from different Universities, IIT’s, & skill development centers interacted through hybrid mode in the 1-day workshop.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated India is a country of youth & through the Skill India–Make in India campaign there is improvement not only in their lifestyle but also in national income.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi announced that to realize PM Modi’s mission of making India the Skill Capital of the world, the Venkateshwara Group is running the maximum vocational/skill development courses in the country.                

Dr Chintamani Skill development consultant Amrita Vidyapeeth asserted through skill development & Make in India production has increased manifolds leading to a self-reliant country.

Dr Sazia Ajith, Chairman CSMS Institute Calicut, advocated that through skill development, innovation & technology, Indians are making their presence felt on the world stage.

Later, the Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri & the Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, felicitated the participants by giving them a shawl & memento.  

Those present included Dr Aslam from ATS group, Maroof Chaudhary, Vikrant Chaudhary, Arun Goswami, Neetushree Pal, Akhil Nair, S Baghel, & the Media In charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.

Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) won over a dozen medals in the All India Sports & cultural Festival.

Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) performed well in the All India Sports & cultural Festival, Aura 2023, organized by Army Medical College. It was a special day for the Venkateshwara group . VIMS, under the aegis of Venkateshwara Group , won over a dozen prizes at Aura 2023 organized by Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi Cantt, wherein 50 Government & Private medical colleges took part. The medical students of VIMS won these prizes under stiff competition from other participants and made the Institute proud. By outclassing students of Safdarjung, AIIMS, Lady Harding, Maulana Azad, PGI, UCMS, & RML in debate, Painting, Dance, Cartoon making, street play and extempore VIMS, students grabbed over a dozen prizes. Shri Venkateshwara University & VGI Meerut concluded a 7-day Faculty Development Program by honoring over 150 VCs & Directors of universities & Higher Education Institutions. The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, VC of KN Modi University Prof DK Pathak, VC of Shimla University Prof. Ramesh Chaudhary, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati. The Chief Advisor Prof VPS Arora and the Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, joined them to begin the closing ceremony of the 7 days FDP.
