Shri Venkateshwara University, AV Smart Study Group & Saksham Foundation held a national seminar to support the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).
Thousands of students from Delhi NCR, Meerut, Amroha, & Moradabad took
part in the seminar & felicitation ceremony.
Senior advocates and educationists from across the country believe that the
Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is a significant step towards national unity, women’s
empowerment, and development.
The Chief Guest Dr AK Verma Senior Officer Education Dep’t. GOI, Pro
Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, & Dr Abhishek Agarwal, Dr Vivek Agrawal Chairman
AV Group inaugurated the Uniform Civil Code seminar & felicitation ceremony
by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Dr Amit Chauhan of the Saksham Foundation assisted them in inaugurating the
event.
In the end, the teachers and students took an oath to support UCC, and we
rewarded over 600 students who scored higher than 95 percent with a memento and
cash rewards.
We also honored NGO’s Padhchin, Benchmark & Saksham Charitable
Foundation by giving them a shawl & memento.
This was to acknowledge their efforts for gathering support for UCC &
carrying out educational & social works.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri described UCC as the soul of the
Constitution & vowed the Venkateshwara Group will run a campaign to garner
support for the UCC. He called the honorable PMs UCC scheme a commendable step
towards national unity.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Pro Chancellor, announced that the Venkateshwara
Group will collaborate with other educational institutions to submit a
letter with 10 lakh signatures to the President of India supporting UCC.
In attendance were the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, VC Dr. Rakesh Yadav,
Registrar, Dr. Piyush Pandey, and renowned environmentalist, Tulsiman Rajiv
Tyagi Raj.
The Meerut Campus Director, Dr. Pratap Singh, was among the attendees, along
with Neetushree Pal, Arun Goswami, Maroof Chaudhary, Vikrant Chaudhary, and Mr.
Vishwas Rana, the Media In charge.
