Shri Venkateshwara University organized a workshop on New Born care & Labour Management.

















Shri Venkateshwara University’s School of Nursing and the Glorious International Nursing Research Foundation organized a 2-day workshop on New Born care & Labour Management..

Several nursing colleges took part in the event, including SGT University Gurugram, Parul University, Care Nursing College, and Indraprastha Nursing College Hapur.

Over half a dozen other nursing colleges also took part. The Venkateshwara School of Nursing was among the participants.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, & Dr Swapnil Rahane Secretary Glorious Research Foundation inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The Chief Guest & SGT University Prof. Dr Lisa Chadda & the Nursing Dean Dr Ana Brown joined them to inaugurate the international workshop on New Born care & Labour Management.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated nursing is the noblest profession of the world. Through experienced teachers, R& D, we will develop the School of Nursing into a Centre of Excellence.

Dr. Lisa Chaddha, the CG, confirmed the crucial role of nurses in childbirth, particularly during cesarean deliveries, where the mother and child require special attention.

It’s the Nurses that educate mothers on the right way of breastfeeding that is crucial for the wellbeing of the child.

Dr. Swapnil Rahane of Parul University emphasized the vital role of nurses in maternal and child care. Nurses assist mothers during delivery and care for the newborn after delivery.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor, has declared that we will turn the Venkateshwara School of Nursing into a Center of Excellence by increasing our research and development efforts.

Those present included Dr VPS Arora the Chief Advisor to the Chairman, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Director Dr Rajesh Singh & the Programme Coordinator Dr Manjari Rana.

Also present were Prof S Walter, Ms. Anusha Karnwal, Sumandeep Kaur, Pooja, Neema Singh & Pratibha.

The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, graced the occasion. Also present were the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
