The B Pharma & D Pharma students of Venkateshwara Group of Institutions (VGI) Meerut visited the Himalaya Drug Company in Dehradun as part of their industrial tour. During the tour, they studied the entire drug making process from the company officials. The Himalayan Drug Co. organized two sessions for the visiting students. The Technical training head Mr Jahangir Ahmed led the first session, wherein he gave a brief introduction about the advance techniques, & concepts adopted by the company. The company President, Dr. Farooq, took the next session wherein he suggested ways to clear the job interview & informed the common mistakes students commit & how to avoid them. He suggested students should launch their start-ups by adopting the latest technology & improve their life.   On the occasion of World AIDS Day the students of Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) along with VGI Meerut organized a Poster making competition & conducted a Red Ribbon AIDS awareness rally to inform about AIDS prevention & submitted a memorandum to the President of India. Apart from this, we organized a national seminar on AIDS symptoms, its detection & cure where in over a dozen renowned Doctors took part.
